Weight loss affects not only your body but also your whole sense of you who you are. If you are focusing only on losing weight then you are indeed bound to diet on forever to achieve your goal and to keep your weight, if at all.
It is not the number of kilos to lose that is important but who will you be or who are you without those kilos? Of course, you are not a different person without the kilos but you will empower other parts of yourself that will have an effect on how you look, feel, sound or move and how others perceive you and vice versa.
The psychology of losing weight is complex and the more you understand where you are coming from in your body and mind and where you are going with your weight loss plan then the journey may have a completely different outcome for you.
Our thoughts have an immense creative power to attract into your life what you are thinking of. Thoughts are like a magnet. Science is catching up on ancient wisdom and confirming that our thoughts are energy and each thought has its unique vibration. I am sure you can relate to that when you distinguish between angry and joyful thoughts.
So when you want to lose weight easily and naturally it is important that you utilize the power of your thoughts. There is an old saying: Where the focus goes, the energy flows. If you focus on losing weight, then that is what you will be doing all your life. Focusing on losing weight and never really arriving.
If you focus on cannot lose weight, then that is what you will be dealing with and wondering why you can’t lose weight. When you keep saying to yourself: cannot lose weight no matter what I do, then you won’t be able to lose weight no matter what you do.
If though, you start using the power of visualization then you can imagine yourself as the person who you want to be. And when you are imagining your ideal weight, notice how your life has changed.

Can you see yourself? What are you wearing?
- How are you feeling within yourself without the excess weight?
- Notice what your posture is communicating to others?
- How does your body move?
- How is life without the thought of needing to lose weight?
- How do you relate to others from that new space within yourself?
- And most importantly, imagine how others relate to you.
You have not only lost weight, you have regained a whole new sense of who you are!
And I guess that without the current story of your struggle with weight issues, you will feel empowered, self confident and pretty good within yourself. And that’s what your focus should be – your weight loss program is just a tool. And once you identified where you are going within yourself, you can complete the picture by imagining to losing weight easily and naturally.
This sound so very simple, yet, it is probably the most difficult thing to do. You will find that all sorts of things will come up because your thoughts have most probably got you here in the first place! And that is where any hypnosis or self hypnosis program will be of great value to you, as it will help you to relax and get you to that place where you want to go in your imagination. Once you can imagine, you are half way there.
