Many have embarked on diets and weight loss programs in order to lose weight and increase self esteem, energy and health.

We would always return to the same old questions:

Why is it so difficult to stay focused and so easy to fall back into our old patterns even after an initial success? Why can’t we change this pattern for good?

The reason for that is that we operate 99% on a subconscious level. Our mind has created its own program that is very difficult to outsmart with dieting. It always seems to work for a very short period of time, sometimes only hours or days at any one time.

There seems to be a constant battle between our body and our mind – or better said between our mind and our mind. Precisely 1% of your mind that wants to lose weight and 99% of your mind that just does not seem to get it! You don’t need to be a mathematician to figure out that there is a slight problem with that ratio.

Losing weight is affecting much more than just the look of our bodies. And when we utelise this knowledge and add some valuable information on how our body works we can move forward.

But where exactly are we going? Weight Loss alone is certainly NOT your aim and if you think it is then you will be on your diet plan or what ever weight loss program you are on for the rest of your life.


So where do we start?


That was the question so many clients brought to me into therapy. I know about hypnosis, I know about NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and many more methods and techniques to repatterning our attitudes, thoughts, and belief systems. But I don’t know anything about hormonal imbalances that affect our eating habits, nor do I know about allergies that create food addictions But Jane Fielden knows and presents it in her program Get Thin While You Sleep.


Plainly put I didn’t know anything about weight loss. And I still don’t know but I have used my knowledge to finding and reviewing some good self hypnosis weight loss resources that I would like to share with you.


Paul McKenna PhD has not become a world authority and expert in the power of the human mind for nothing. This guy understands his stuff more than anyone and his CDs, books and courses are outstanding material.

John Gabriel put an enormous amount of research into The Gabriel Method and the information and CD is just about a must. This guy did the journey himself when he lost over 250 pounds.

Any effective self hypnosis weight loss program provides your conscious and subconscious mind with enough information for you to change. And as your motivation and understanding changes, you will change and so will inevitably your body.
Self hypnosis weight loss is a self-empowering first step towards more vitality and greater self-esteem. If you truly want to lose weight than you must have a whole method that guides your body and mind towards the person you truly want to be. There is no such thing as being just a thinner you! There is only a thinner you feeling fresh, vibrant and alive and living the lifestyle that you were meant to live in the first place.
